Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are a great way to quickly clean up mess. The best robot vacuums and mops I've tested are top-quality in navigation and mapping and are able to pick up Cheerios as well as tangled wires, and fake dog turds with out leaving them behind. You can also schedule cleaning chores through an app and monitor their progress. 1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combo. It comes with the most recent features. This high-end vacuum is fast and agile, and it picked up pet hair and human dander nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also features a sleek app interface with a miniature map of your house and some on-screen buttons for manual control. The S8's Dirt Detection Technology allows it to alter the cleaning mode according to dirt levels. It will clean its mopping pads more often when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get priority for mopping using a damp mopping pad. The mop roller comes with several other clever features, including docks that can be connected to your home's plumbing system to wash and clean it without you having to manually refill the mop. You can even make use of voice commands using the built-in voice assistant, saying Hey Rocky to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular controls with your voice. 2. Yeedi Cube The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free that also has mopping capabilities. It's part of a plethora of robot vacuums with combo features with mops, but comes at a cheaper price than most of the competition. Like many robovacs Yeedi Cube requires a little amount of work to start, including setting up an account with the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once you've done that, the machine will begin to vacuum and mop easily. It is important to note that the mapping process can take a while and it could take a few times before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. Additionally the detection of objects can be hit or miss and it was able to skirt furniture and other obstacles, but was stuck on a loose tassel rug and had to turn it over to get free. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do all of the above. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubs. This results in floors being cleaned, not just being swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is an absolute game changer that can get to places robot vacuums cannot. This model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa and some additional smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacle avoidance. And the smart app lets you modify various settings such as scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries. The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging base at the end of each job to clean their pads and empty the dust bins and put the debris in the self-sealing bag. This helps keep the system clean, and prevents allergens recirculating. The battery longevity is sufficient to handle large spaces without needing a recharge mid-clean. 4. Eufy S1 Pro As one of the more premium robot vacuum and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the money. It has powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also boasts a unique mopping system, which uses a roller continuously doused with water to pull up dirt and deposit it in the water that is dirty tank. Its navigation system was efficient. It stayed clear of steps and walked close to walls without crashing. It struggled with small particles and did not always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also quite high, so it may be less of a set-and-forget model than some. The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a docking technology that allows it to refill its clean water, empty the dust bin and wash and dry the mop, and empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in accordance with the regular schedule. You can control all its functions through the Eufy app. It provides a clear overview and plenty of options for configuration. 5. Freo X Ultra The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot mowers and vacuums available, and it offers amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. The LIDAR mapping sensors can recognize furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with reasonable precision. The app allows users to fine-tune the coverage of the map, create no-go zones, or modify their cleaning preferences. The Freo's brush is specifically designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This is a major problem with many robotic vacuums. The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM while applying up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system incorporates intelligent carpet detectors that raise the pads when they're near soft surfaces in order to keep them from getting contaminated. The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance center, automatically washing and drying the mops and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station also comes with integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of uninterrupted operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their bins of dust every time they are emptied. 6. S10 This robot is just a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my office tidy. It also has the ability to reach all corners of my small apartment. It uses laser mapping and camera to create a 3D map of your home so that it knows what to stay clear of. And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids items such as bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop!). It also has some outstanding highlights, such as an automatic emptying dustbin and a mop pad self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching brush that can reach places that other mops can't reach. You can also customize the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules. Like the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping that can differentiate between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood rugs with high-pile. If budget robot vacuum looking to cut down on time, it will avoid mopping rooms that aren't dirty. If you have a wide range of flooring in your home and don't want to invest more money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping features it is a great choice. 7. Q5 Pro If you're looking for a flexible robot vacuum and mop that can handle regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes, this little robot is an excellent choice. It offers a broad range of features, including a self-emptying dustbin, a separate water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings within the app. It's extremely quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. It can't pick tangled rug tassels up and its battery drains quicker than other models we tested. The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that comes with an impressive suction and easy automation in a sleek. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests of vacuuming, but overall it did well. It also includes a wide selection of cleaning options to suit your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' option for light debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for rooms with carpet. It can even remove and reconnect the mop pads, and not leave your carpets soaked. 8. K10 Plus The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used in small areas. It's extremely silent and fast, and it can navigate tight spaces well. It also does a very good job of removing pet hair off carpeting. It's smaller than most of its competition however it doesn't compromise features. It has decent suction power and can be configured to take pictures of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as 'not found' to ensure that they are not picked up again during future cleanings. The photos are secured and not linked to your account. It's great at vacuuming, but not as well at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom, and then drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
